Review: ORA COGAN – “Rubbon Vine” (Vancouver, Canada)

Ora Cogan liveThe first song “Black Swells” is simply amazing. You know, that kind of music you want to hear, but didn’t know yet.
She mixes her tender spacy voice among an acoustic, psychedlic middle eastern ensemble. Can you ask more?

The other songs rely more on the americana folk side of things, but doesn’t sound boring like most of this music sounds to me. I think it’s because of the 60’s ethereal vibe, that can sound a little dark and gloomy to me as well.

All and all, it’s a very good album and I wish she could make more music like “Black Swells”.
