At first, when I saw this band was in a big label as Season of Mist I considered not reviewing it here as I’d like to give space for more underground bands.
But what the hell, the music is good and since I already spent time listening to it, why not writing about it as well?
I found this record on my quest for bands mixing middle eastern influences and metal. And that’s exactly what they do.
As with most bands, they err more on the metal side then the eastern one, but that’s ok. They’re also more palatable than most of the bands featured on this blog, but that’s ok too.
Sarah Layssac’s vocals make it sound more interesting than the regular gothic metal bands out there. Not something I’d listen to everyday, but sounds good anyway.
They tag themselves as Oriental Metal, Melodic Death Metal.
